JET PLANE DREAM! - is a "spin-off" of the song Slaves, and uses the music and drums from that song, but has different lyrics and vocals.
The lyrics and vocals, courtesy of lyricist and vocalist Franklin Sane (Detroit, USA), describe a dream on a jet plane with Franklin's characteristic poetic lyrical style and vocal phrasing. Franklin can also be experienced on this site in two other songs, Five Years, and  From Worlds Away., one of my firm favourites.
The magnification was part of the scheme
With everything intensified like you've never been

The music for this song was initially inspired by the Who (and by the gated synth patch on a soft-synth VST, which mimics the characteristic Who gated synth sound!). The opening power chords are Who influenced, while there are Entwhistle and Lee influences in the busy bass lines.
The multi-talented Bob Campbell (USA), played the powerful spot-on on-point drums!Â
The artwork was created using Picsart, using a combination of AI image generation, and text formatting tools.
Jet Plane Dream lyrics by Franklin Sane
Verse 1
In a jet plane dream I might have seen youÂ
With Pearls in you head
So what do you know
What do you think
And what kind of bed
Verse 2
Who's in a jet plane dream
With those battened down eyes
So what would you think if
We start to realize.
Chorus
In a Jet Plane Dream
I'm not turning you down
In a jet plane dream
I'm not turning you down
Verses 3 and 4
Yeah, I've heard about the magnets
In the jet plane dreams
I've heard all the descriptions in the magazines
I even googlefied you on the personal screen
I wasn't mortified,Â
Like i've ever been
They say you're quite a story
But I wouldn't mind
I might go searching
But what would I find
Chorus 2
In a Jet Plane Dream
I'm not turning you down
In a jet plane dream
I'm not turning you down
Chorus 3
In a Jet Plane Dream
Jet plane dream
In a jet plane dream
I'm not turning you down
Breakdown
The magnification was part of the scheme
With everything intensified like you've never been
Have I found a diamond or a platinum pearl?
Maybe some one of a kind in the world
Chorus 4Â
In a Jet Plane Dream
I'm not turning you down
In a jet plane dream
I'm not turning you down
I'm not turning
